Laís Canniatti Brazaca received her M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from São Carlos Institute of Physics, University of São Paulo (IFSC/USP), Brazil, in 2015 and 2019, respectively. During her PhD, she has performed an internship at University of California, San Diego (2017-2018). She was a postdoctoral researcher at University of São Paulo (USP) (2019-2022) and at Harvard University (2022-2023). She is now a professor at São Carlos Institute of Chemistry (IQSC/USP). Her
specialties include biosensors for medical diagnosis, microfabrication, electrodes modification, nanomaterials for sensing applications and paper-based devices.
